Attention: please note, that Morgan used various rear axles over the years. Here, we concentrate on the models 3HA, 6HA, 7HA/1 and 7HA2 from Salisbury. The 6HA-axle was used in 4/4 models of the series 2 and 3, up to chassis number A610 in 1961. This axle was replaced by the 3HA-model on the 4/4 Series 3 in 1961. The 3HA axle was also used in the +4, from 1954 up to 1961, when replaced by the 7HA. From 1961, all Morgans used the 7HA-axle, the first series being 7HA/1, later the 7HA/2 as the 2nd series. It was only from 1996, when all Morgan models received the BTR axle. If in doubt, please measure the housing of your axle according to the drawing which you find top RH of the exploded view! The measurement of the 6HA-axle is a little smaller than the one of the successor model 3HA! Most of the oil seals are listed with rough dimensions - please check those as well!!
