Fits MINI COOPER & SALOON 1962 - 1995

With the introduction of the rear seat squab frame in 1960, the rear seat foams were changed from a horsehair pad to this flat squab foam. This far more modern foam replacement if placed over the rear seat frame and then the edges are turned around the frame and glued. This style squab was used from 1960 until the end of production of the MkI when the foams were changed to give a more defined shape and extra comfort. In the 90's, the reintroduction of the Cooper also saw this style of foam being used once again.

It is advised to fit new foams at the same time as replacing the rear seat covers as the original covers were often glued to the foams, causing damage upon removal, however, due to the rear seats being used less than the fronts, this can be at your discretion.
