This is a brand new (non-exchange) and a direct replacement high torque starter.

Note: This high performance starter motor is aimed specifically at TR2-3A fitted with the shrink-on type ring gear/and or fitted with high compression engines (9.5:1 - 12.5:1).

To fit this starter motor, you will need to fit a new ring gear (201350). No other modification is required
